Captain Tom and Captain Mike grew up fishing on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Their grandfather was a boat builder, and their father always had them on a boat learning the pleasures of the water.
Captain Tom is a Coast Guard licensed captain and also has a master's degree in Education Administration. He is the executive director of the New Hope Center, Inc. This non-profit organization works with children who have physical disabilities.
Captain Mike is a full time Coast Guard licensed 100 ton captain and also has a college degree in Business Administration.
Both Captain Tom and Captain Mike enjoy the rush and excitement of catching a big, black tip shark or the pleasure of catching a trophy speckled trout to mount on the wall. However, the most important thing to remember about these two Cajun captains is that they both love to make friends and have a great time.
The "Strictly Too" is a 24 ft. center console fishing vessel for both bay and deep gulf waters, featuring light tackle fishing for all species. With a very large variety of fish in this area, this boat will allow you to fish the shallow grass beds for Trout and Flounder or move to the oil rigs and modules for Snapper and Grouper. We can also fish the swift waters for Redfish, Black Drum, Bonita, Mackerel, Shark, Cobia and Jack Crevalle just to name a few. Captain Tom has fished the Gulf for over 25 years and knows where and how to catch these fish. We can do all this in the comfort and safety of a fast boat with all the latest navigational and fish locating instrumentation. For your convenience, there is an enclosed head.
The "Strictly Too" offers a huge fishing deck area. She is rigged for fishing as well as your comfort, and easily accommodates up to 6 anglers. This year she has been totally upgraded with twin 130 Yamaha engines. What this means is a much faster and more dependable boat to get us out where the fish are! She can clip right along at 45 to 50 mph cruising speed. She's a quick study, learning where the fish go to school.
"Strictly Business" is a 38 ft. Bertram Sport Fishing vessel which offers offshore fishing and deep sea fishing. This boat will allow you to fish the rigs for Snapper, Grouper, Cobia and King Mackerel or move to deeper waters for Amberjack and Dolphin. We can also fish the swift waters of the Barrier Islands for Redfish, Bonita, Mackerel, Shark, Cobia and Jack Crevalle just to name a few. Captain Mike has fished the Gulf for over 25 years and knows where and how to catch these fish. We can do all this in the comfort and safety of a sport fishing vessel that is furnished with an air conditioning and a restroom.
"Strictly Business" offers a huge fishing deck area. She is rigged for fishing and trolling and easily accommodates up to 6 anglers. This year she has been totally upgraded with two 370 horsepower Yanmar diesel engines. What this means is a much faster and more dependable boat to get us out where the fish are! She can cruise along at 26 knots. She always knows where the fish go to school!
